
This Friday marks the start of the Phygital Contenders: Abu Dhabi – Football tournament, where over 20 clubs will fight for a spot at GOTF 2025. As the final qualification event on the road to GOTF 2025, it will be held at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC).
Running over the next 5 days (25 to 29 July), the tournament brings together clubs with the highest-ranking points from the 2024/25 WPC season, each aiming to claim one of six remaining places at the Games of the Future this December.
Featuring clubs from five continents, the line-up highlights the reach and competitive strength of clubs within the WPC network. Among the standout clubs are CM JARDIM from Brazil, Navai from Uzbekistan, and OAA Esports from Oman.
