GOTF Majors and GOTF Minors Overview: Results from Around the Globe
The results from the latest GOTF Majors and GOTF Minors are out, as the new generation of phygital athletes compete to fight for a place at next year’s Games of the Future tournament in the UAE.
The GOTF Minors, which wrapped up on November 30th, 2024, saw more than 650 teams compete, with the winners advancing to the GOTF Majors.
Here are a few standout results:
Kragujevac, Serbia (Phygital Dancing): Danilo Fatic 2 – 1 Teodora Pavlovic
Yaoundé, Cameroon (Phygital Basketball): BBC 9 – 21 The Warriors
Urgench, Uzbekistan (Phygital Dancing): Stars Gold 2 – 0 Urgench City
Over 164 applications from WPC members have been submitted to host GOFT Majors, with some already completed including Uzbekistan, Armenia, Cameroon, Oman, Russia and Serbia, having led the way in this pivotal stage. Here are some standout moments so far:
